Odd fits and poor refund process.
I really like the ethics and concept of this company: stylish clothes made by correctly paid workers.
BUT their sizing for any kind of curve really doesn't work.
It also takes a really long time to get a refund. I've gone through the process a couple of times now and it just doesn't work.

I like the fact that all the clothes here are eco friendly.the design and style are my taste too which is a bonus.prices are reasonable as well and i think i would buy from peopletree again.

No confirmation of receipt no refund
No confirmation of receipt, no refund within 3 weeks of receipt of return ( to dutch EU mainland returns center). No response via email.
Such a shame! I Live the company and the products which I purchase and enjoy for macht years. Butter this is inacceptable

I returned items in April of this year…
I returned items in April of this year and I still haven't received a refund of nearly 300.00. Apparently, they are not contactable by phone and email responses take 2/3 days. Not acceptable and hardly 'customer service'. They blame covid for the inability to provide proper customer service, but this excuse is wearing a bit thin now. I really wouldn't order from this company.

I placed a first order with Peopletree.co.uk.
It arrived very quickly and was packaged in very eco friendly bags.
The clothing that I ordered is such good quality and I love it. It fits perfectly and the description is accurate.
I had to contact People Tree regarding delivery dates, and received a quick, friendly and helpful reply from Lucy Leck the Customer Service Coordinator.

Beautiful handmade
Beautiful handmade, organic and ethical clothing. Have shopped with people tree for over 10 years because their clothes are an investment and last a long time. It feels good too knowing I am investing in the people who made them and their traditional production methods that are environmentally friendly and worth every penny. Such a wonderful company and ethos.
women's underwear…
Recently bought some women's underwear from them and another vendor as looking for sustainable options, unfortunately the people tree pants were an odd cut - slightly tight in some places, uncomfortable to wear with not very soft fabric and i would return except for no returns policy on underwear - so £30 down the drain.
The other vendor's (Boody) pants were by contrast soft fabric, very comfortable fit and also sustainable.

I’m sad to see so many negative reviews. I’ve been shopping with People Tree since they started, and have never had a bad experience, both with garment quality and customer service. Their sizing is sometimes quite generous, but I generally order two sizes and send one back. Returns are free and refunds generally prompt. My latest item (a shirt dress) is lovely quality and arrived next day.

Very inconsistent sizing
Very inconsistent sizing. I am a size 8 for all other brands and have no problem so far. but when I ordered 2 pairs of trousers from Peopletree in size 8, one of them is too big and long to the point that the bottom part would touch the floor even when I'm in heels; while the other is too tight to the point I couldn't put it on. Moreover, there's no size chart on the website for the second pair so there's no way I could have known.

My favourite company! Have been buying from People Tree regularly for at least 12 years. Love the ethos, the fact that they have remained true to their good ethics and morals as they have grown over the years. Very transparent, ethical company. Great clothes, fair trade and organic and friendly staff. Love, love, love People Tree! Customer for life.

People tree always has very comfortable and ethical clothing and are mindful of how the process of production impacts our earth our home. Recently I asked about getting a refund on an item that did not fit me and they were very patient with me and everything was explained well about what I can do. I appreciate the whole process of how all the items are made so consciously and the amazing work being done in other countries.
Love the Heather slim fit jeans…
I bought the heather slim fit jeans size 12, which arrived within 2 days. These are like magic jeans for me! I absolutely love the fit, quality and dark denim colour. I (almost) haven’t taken them off since they arrived. Well done to the design and sourcing teams and the workers at Sarp Jeans. I’ll definitely be back for another pair.

Good Experience
I read the reviews and was a little anxious, as I had already ordered. But there was no trouble! It arrived quickly, the jumpsuit I ordered was beautifully made, and customer service responded to me immediately when I thought I had an issue. I just didnt get an email with the tracking number - that's why I emailed them. But overall I am satisfied!

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. I've twice had to chase up refunds after a month of waiting for confirmations that never arrive. One of the main features of online shopping is ease of refund. People Tree don't seem to realise this. We are all aware of how difficult things are for companies right now, but the lack of acknowledgement is inexcusable.

very poor customer service
very poor customer service, no info on my order 10 days after purchase ( money left my PayPal account Immediately) despite no show on order. After several attempts contacting customer service got email saying not all items in warehouse COVID can’t be blamed for bad communication. Have been customer for ages but this will defo be my last order
